Credit Card Guarantees

Terms and conditions vary depending on the selected rental product.

TotalFlex (Pay at Location): A credit card guarantee is required to reserve a vehicle. Upon reservation, your card will be validated with a temporary authorization of $1.00, which will appear in your statement. No actual charge will occur unless you fail to pick up the vehicle at the scheduled time and date. In that case, a no-show fee of one day's rental or a minimum of $50.00 will be charged.

Pay Now Products: The total rental amount will be charged at the time of booking. Depending on the selected Pay Now product, you may be eligible to cancel your reservation as follows:

  • MaxiFlex: Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up date and time.
  • Flex: Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours after booking.
  • Best (Pay Now): This product is non-refundable and non-modifiable. If you fail to pick up the vehicle at the scheduled date and time, your reservation will be automatically canceled, and no refund will be issued.

If you have made a Prepaid (Pay Now) reservation, a Booking Fee will be charged, equal to the total cost of your reservation. Regardless of prepayment, a security deposit will be required. The card used for the deposit must be in the renter's name and presented at the time of vehicle pickup.

If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be canceled and you will not receive a refund or a credit.

Credit & Debit Card Policy

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. 

If you plan to use a debit card instead of a credit card, please contact Action Car Rental at +1(407) 240-2700 for approval. A qualification screening will be required, and additional restrictions may apply.

For renters using a debit card, a convenience fee of $12.99 per day will be applied. A security deposit is required for all rentals, which will be refunded upon the timely return of the vehicle with no damage. The deposit amount varies based on the terms of the rental agreement and ranges from $300 USD to $1,000 USD.

Deposit releases for both debit and major credit card transactions are processed within 7 to 21 business days. These timeframes are set to accommodate necessary verifications and ensure smooth coordination with your financial institution. Please note that individual institutions may have slight variations in these processing times.
